The San Diego County Air Pollution Control District invites students in grades K thru 12 who attend schools within San Diego County to participate in our 2027 Student Art Contest. Students are encouraged to submit their original artwork representing the importance of clean air for all in their communities and ways we can all reduce air pollution. Contest winners will have their artwork featured in our 2027 calendar.

Thirteen (13) contest winners will be selected. The winning artwork will be displayed on the SDAPCD webpage. Parent/Guardian permission is required. A completed entry form with parent/guardian signature MUST BE included with all submissions.

To participate in the 2027 Student Art Calendar Contest, students must meet the following:

• Submit their own original artwork
• Submit only 1 entry per student 
• Follow 8 1/2” X 11” dimensions in landscape orientation for artwork
• Attend a school within San Diego County 
• Include a completed entry form with parent/guardian signature
• Ensure that artwork that does not have any folds or staples
• All entries must be received via email or post-marked by November 15, 2026
