SD Clean Air

FREE air purifiers (while supplies last) for residents of Port-adjacent communities (most households in Barrio Logan, Logan Heights, Sherman Heights, and West National City)! Check map here   to see if you qualify.

Through the SD Clean Air program residents of neighborhoods located near The Port of San Diego's maritime and industrial operations are eligible to apply for one free air purifier and two free replacement filters for use in their home.

This program is a partnership between the San Diego County Air Pollution Control District (SDAPCD) and The Port of San Diego to reduce exposure to air pollution and create healthier indoor environments for residents that live in close proximity to maritime and industrial activities.

Eligibility

Eligible areas include most households in the communities of Barrio Logan, Logan Heights, Sherman Heights, and West National City. Addresses located in the red highlighted portion of the map below qualify to apply. You can also search your address on the California Air Resources Board (CARB) Map to see if your address is within the Portside Community map boundary.

Due to limited quantities, some eligible households may not be able to receive air purifiers. If the number of applications submitted exceeds available supply, the application portal will be closed. Priority will be given to applicants who have yet to receive an air purifier from previous SDAPCD purifier programs, including the PAIR program.
