of Specified Equipment
Rule
12 requires forms to be filled out; a District General Application
Form (App116)
and the applicable single form titled "Certificate of Compliance
and Certificate of Registration". For emergency standby
diesel-fueled engines, select a form based on your diesel particulate
matter (PM) exhaust emissions.If
exhaust emissions are unknown or greater than 0.4 grams per brake
horsepower-hour (g/BHP-hr), use form 34W/12844. This
will limit the engine to 20 hours per year for maintenance and testing
purposes. If there is documentation that PM exhaust emissions are
less than or equal to 0.4 g/BHP-hr, than the engine may be operated up to 30 hours
per year for maintenance and testing purposes. ATCM (Available Technology Control Measure)
