The San Diego County Air Pollution Control District (APCD) is the local regulatory agency responsible for protecting the public’s health from the adverse impacts of air pollution. This is accomplished through integrated monitoring, planning, engineering, and compliance activity that focuses on achieving and maintaining air quality standards.
