Agricultural Burn Forecast

Agricultural burn permit holders are required to contact their local fire district prior to burning. Open burning may be prohibited when fire danger conditions exist, even though air quality conditions may be favorable for open burning.

For Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18, 2008, air quality conditions PROHIBIT open burning in the San Diego Air Basin.

For Monday, May 19, 2008, air quality conditions PERMIT open burning in the San Diego Air Basin.

For Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18, 2008, air quality conditions PROHIBIT open burning in the San Diego County portion of the Salton Sea Air Basin.

For Monday, May 20, 2008, air quality conditions PERMIT open burning in the San Diego County portion of the Salton Sea Air Basin.
