The Air Pollution Control District's Industry Recognition Program recognizes those companies or organizations that have made a positive contribution to the regional environment through innovative projects that reduce air pollution and global warming.
Throughout the year, the District recognizes those companies who exceed current government regulations and do more than their share for cleaner air. These Clean Air Champions are committed to keeping the skyline clean and clear in San Diego County.
In addition, each year the District singles out one small, medium, and large business or organization for their outstanding, innovative efforts in improving air quality and providing inspiration for others to follow. The APCD-IEA Blue Sky Leadership Awards are presented to the companies that best protect our greatest natural resource - our air.
